13-10-2009 - 4 months old and an update

My mood while writing this blog: learning!!

so my little man will be 4 months old this saturday, man he is a big boy!!

he is 15lbs and 3 oz and 27 inches long!

he is trying to roll over on his own, he is almost there, just slowly learning how to get all the way over from his belly to his back! i have recently started the cry it out method. aiden isn't really a happy baby, yes he smiles, and sometimes he giggles, but he just cries and cries if i'm not holding him, and cries if he doesn't have my full attention, while i love that he relies(sp?) on me so much, i can never get anything done...i.e. laundry, dishes, and other household issues. i try and do them after he goes down for a nap, but he doesn't nap long, and i try and do them when he is asleep for the night, but i'm just so worn out by that time, that i just want to go to sleep myself. i had to figure something out because my husband is coming home, and while he understands its hard to find the time to take care of things like this, he is also in the army and is a very neat and organized man, so the messiness won't always be accepted.

also another reason i have started the CIO method is because i want aiden to become independent,and him being 4 months old, its time for him to learn the things other babies are. like rolling over, scooting and what not.

its been a very long deployment, and we are ready for daddy to come home so he can get to know aiden, and jay is looking forward to getting to know him, and hold him once again, but even though he is miles upon miles away, he and i are a team, and the CIO method is something we both agree on for now. just to let him learn the things he needs to!
