27-6-2008 - 18 weeks pregnant

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

i just had my first checkup with my ob/gyn and he said the baby looks perfectly healthy. there are no signs of spina bifida or down syndrome or anything like that, and our baby is perfect size. however, we have to go all the way to kingston in a month to have a fetal echocardiogram ( a special ultrasound of the unborn baby's heart.)

both of my twin daughters were born with holes in theirs. one of my daughters actually had 2 holes in her heasrt so they want to do the ultrasound as a precautionary thing. this way if there is any sign of it, than it can be corrected before the baby is born. so we're definately keeping our fingers crossed!!

on a better note we get to dind out the sex of our baby in only 6 more days!! yay!! we're so excited! i can't wait!! lets just hope he/she will let us find out!!
