01-5-2009 - Just a few things I've been itching to talk about!

My mood while writing this blog: can\'t sleep!

I've got that restless leg thing and can't sleep very well so I thought I'd put in a little update. I don't wanna blog anybody to death, but the thought occurred to me about how much I worry how ppl's pregnancies are going when I know they had a prob and I thought "Sarah, you dummy! You've only told about nothing but probs! Write something good" so here it goes....

I have been CONTRACTION FREE for 2 WHOLE DAYS NOW!!!

Yea!!! Those shots I've been having to take once a week have really helped and I'm SO excited! I have my next specialist appt in 2 wks where he will make sure the insides are still unchanged and we'll see how I'm really doing. Speaking of dr's... That OB that referred me to the specialist is a CRACKER. I still have to see him once a month like the other guy but ooooh... I went in for a "consult" as my DH is calling it now and out of all the probs and things to worry about with me the guy chooses to harp about my weight. I've gained 22 lbs so far and that is really good for me! I come from a long line of amazon women with ghetto hips and I tried to stress to him that I am really a big girl at heart if it weren't for my metabolism. So, I politely told him to deal with it, there were bigger fish to fry right now. Angels must have cheered me on for keeping my mouth shut!

In other news (lol), my mom is coming in soon from Cajun country to get her stuff out of the soon to be baby room and is promising a crawfish boil and some blackberry cobbler. I love my mom!
