| 26-6-2009 - I graduated! | My mood while writing this blog:whew! |
I had my last appt with the specialist the other day. He said I had "graduated". Yea! My cervix was still ok but is started to dip in at the ends and I have to take breathine with my shot for this next week. I still have elevated amniotic fluid and that stupid wall thing in my uterus but we're making it. So pretty much at 34 wks (next Sun) if I pop despite my shot, I pop. Does anyone know how long a healthy baby stays in the NICU if any at all at that point? Anything will be better than 5 wks like last time but I'd still like to avoid it altogether. My cntrxns are starting to hurt a little but I think everyone's are at this point. My belly is so stinkin' huge! I'm gonna take pics real soon bc I think being this big is so cool. My husband is a big guy and he keeps asking me what it's like to go from being skinny to big. He has an "awareness" of my size but doesn't make me feel fat or anything. He's one of those that doesn't care, he still makes over me like I'm sexy. Puh-leez, Mr. Hannah.
I started a med/surg nursing class for school and it is about to wear me out! It is just SO time consuming and all I want to do is sleep lately. I've also started getting cravings again and for the first time in my life have fallen in love with rice pudding. Don't ask me why... it is just so good right now.
I finished baby Gabe's room and Cade's new big boy room. I need to take pics of that too to show all of y'all. Gabe's has a puppy dog theme and Cade's is a mixture of everything a toddler likes (especially Lightening McQueen). Cade is now officially 3 and he is so precious. He says things that he thinks now rather than just parroting. Ladies, there is nothing that can steal your heart more than your baby saying "I lo-lu mama" for the first time on his own. Or them putting their little arm around you and patting you on the back just because. I absolutely love being a mama. I remember being scared at one time that I wouldn't be a good enough mother and sometimes I think "I actually managed to keep a little person alive and taken care of for this long" but there is nothing like it. I am growing very fond of the idea of raising 2 little boys and am getting so excited thinking about things like Christmas and having lights everywhere and decorating the yard with trains, planes, etc. I know you all have probably been having the same kinds of thoughts.
Anywho, my hubby's home now and I have GOT to take a nap. Please don't forget to update often and let me know how things are going! :-*
