Dont worry about the dates or measurments. It duznt always mean your dates are off. sometimes it just means you have a big baby. I was measuring 42.5cm at my 38week appt and ended up delivereing at 38weeks and 4days. My son was 9lbs 12oz. I never expected him to be that big but he just grew like crazy right at the end. And there was absolutly no possibility of my dates being off.. it was impossible. I also delivered naturally. Well good luck girly and i cant wait to see pics. Congrats!!

oh i am so excited for you, you would be surprised what small women can do, my grandma gave birth naturally to twins at home and she was only 4 ft 11 tall bless, hopefully you'll be ok and go natural, good luck, i am so happy for you, i can't wait to see him xx

OMG!! What great news! I mean, I know you're a lil worried but at the same time you're happy. I'm sure everything will turn out well. Stay positive and just enjoy these last few days w/ your baby b/c they say that we will miss having our babies inside of us. I still got a while to go. I'm exactly 35wks today & my baby weighs 6lbs already. Who knows how it will go for me.

OMG!!! Wow hun you have made a big boy by the sounds of it hehe! Not long now then hey woohoo! I am super excited for you! I did think your tum looked on the large size but your told not to take to much from that are you as were all different! And you are titchy hun i think you will end up with a c-section they aren't too bad im told by friends and family so i think you will be ok, In jan this year my friend was huge with her baby boy they had to give her a c-section as they thought he would be between 10-11lbs!! He was big at 9lb 6oz but at least he wasn't as big as they first thought hey! All the best hun loads of love steph xxx

Wow. Congrats and good luck! I'm really nervous now because at my last appt. my doctor was feeling my belly to try and feel the baby and he said it felt like a big baby for 36 weeks but he didn't actually measure him. Next week I think I'm going to express my concerns!

| 24-4-2009 - 37 weeks - I'm having my baby next week! |  My mood while writing this blog:Excited |
So as I mentioned in my last blog I had a scan booked for today - this wasn't for any medical reason just as a kind gesture. So I went in and they confirmed the baby is head down engaged and ready to go. The woman starts taking the measurements to estimate his weight. They start whispering to themselves and it really worried me I was like is everything ok and she was said do you have a family history of diabetes I said no why??? Well it turns out a have a HUGE baby. He is currently weighing in at 8lbs 13oz at 36 weeks 6 days can you believe it? They said that there is no way they are going to let me go full term especially with me being so small so I have been booked in for an urgent appointment with the consultant and he will decide if I will either be induced next week or have a c-section! I'm still in shock I can't believe he will be here soon yippee! I'm hoping he will say c-esction because I don't think my little pelvis will be able to deliver a baby of that size. No wonder his movements are so strong and painful and no wonder I have a huge bump it all makes sense now lol. He looked so cramped in there bless him it took her ages to find his leg lol he was all squished! I can't believe I have made a big baby lol everyone will be suprised. I had my glucose test a couple of weeks ago so it can't be that and I haven't got my dates wrong. Why is my baby measuring 40-41wks at 37 weeks how odd. I just hope everything is ok! I can't wait to have him now I feel so big and heavy it's really uncomfortable. My vajayjay hurts so bad with all the pressure I can't take it anymore. Thanks for taking an interest I will update you after I see the consultant and upload a 37 week belly pic tomorrow. I love you all! xx
