Had my 32 wek doctor appointment on the 3rd of february, talked to my doctor about having an elective induction date on my due date if little Lilli still hasnt made her arrival because my husband wont be here and I wont have any reliable friends. My older sister is flying out the 26th of March and Im due the 30th and I don't want to be alone. Thats my worse fear, being all alone in labor and having this baby! Eeek!! So, knowing babies come when they want I wanted some sort of security so we will see how it goes. Im not sure I like my doctor, I miss the doctor, well actually they are all midwives except for my primary doctor who I LOVE but only have seen once so far. But I miss my midwife who I first had, I havent seen her since 20 weeks. This new midwife totally blows off all my concerns and makes me feel like a moron. She practically laughed at me when I told her I was scared about having this baby alone and how is there anything we can do to work it out, and she looked at me like "not my problem lady" after talking about it for awhile she finally suggestes the elective induction, and on top of that I have a cold and asked her what I could take for it and she said "what happened to the list of medications I gave you in that brochure??" Oh, what, the one from 8 MONTHS AGO!!! I don't know lady, my life is sorta a mess right now!! She then told me to look up there website online to see what I can take. Like reprimanding me for being a bad student or something! Why couldnt she just telll me right there?? Ugh!! She finally told me as I was walking out the door! To late to switch doctors now but Im having a hard time holding my tongue and not lashing out at her! Grr..and then I asked her how much does she think the baby weighs and what position she is in, and she seemed exasperated that I wanted that kind of info! Geez!! Sorry for inconvienceing you with how my unborn child is doing!! The worse part is I went with my friens to her dr app and her dr is soo nice and caring and understanding. And my friend doesnt even really care about her pregnancy, shes just like, ugh is it over yet?? Then she said there are days she doesnt want the baby, Im like WTF?? I think we should trade doctors since her and my doctor can not give a shit together!! Yeah, just a little upset...On top of that Im a FAT ASS..Ive gained 40lbs so far!! OMG!! I just lost 30 before I got pregnant so nowIm afraid my husband is going to running and screaming back onto the boat when he comes home and sees me! Just not very happy today I guess...Hope ya'll are doing better than me...oh, oh, AND!!! I have a cold right, AND, my heater is broken, yes broken, no heat for me!! Its 30 today and FFFAAAFFFREEEZZIINNG!! Ugh..can SOMETHING go right..please God, anything!! Alright Im done...i thinkg..thinks for hanging in there and reading all this!

Bless you. Vent all you need! Sorry to hear about your moronic midwife. She probably stepped in dog poop before work and wasn't thinking about how she was coming off. Insist that you see the other midwifes or your doc. Just think, you and your husband will be able to coo all over your little baby soon enough.

Hey girl, I'm on the east coast too. I'm feeling ya with this weather we've been having. NO FUN. I don't know about you but this weekend, we are suppose to have up in the 60's so I'm looking forward to that!!! I wish you felt better though. I'm so sorry your doctor is such a pain. I've had doctor's like that in the past and I didn't put up with them! The one I have now is a personal family friend so I know I'm in good hands. I pray your doctor becomes more human. Hugs to you and that little angel you are carrying!!!
