19-6-2008 - 6 years today

My mood while writing this blog: good

This time 6 years ago I was lying in a hospital bed for 11 1/2 hours still waiting. Wondering why it's taking so long, when they told me I would come in, deliver and be back home in a few hours to recover from labor and deliver. Little did I know, I had another 4 hours to go and would be spending the night in the hospital without a baby to take home with us.

I'm not sad though, this is the 2nd year I've been able to deal with it, without having to lie in bed all day in a room of total darkness. So, I am glad of that. I just needed a moment to reflect in an environment where I know someone, somewhere feels the same pain I feel.
