| 18-6-2009 - Happy Birthday Baby! |  My mood while writing this blog:okay |
Another year has passed and the only thing I can do to be certain I don't forget my 1st born is to relive the moments leading up to the day we had to say goodbye to her forever.
As I kiss Layla today, my thoughts will also be on Azahria who was born 7 years ago today...3 months too early and never given the chance to fight for her life.
I know she is in Heaven where she has no worries, no illnesses and no stress. I still think of her very often...now that she has a sister...I always imagine she is one of the angels Layla sees as she smiles in her sleep. That may sound borderline psychotic to some, but for me it is the peace that surpasses understanding that the bible mentions.
So, no, having other kids does not erase the pain feel after losing a baby. You just have to deal with your thoughts whenever you get a break from being the best mom you can to the children you have with you here on earth.

I couldn't imagine losing a baby during pregnancy and the farther along in the pregnancy i think it would be harder for me to deal with. You are right she is in heaven not suffering. I think sometimes my little one is seeing angels too!!

No! thinking your 1st daughter is one of the angles your baby sees now isnt crazy. It's beautiful. I had to smile when I read that because my mom always says when babies smile they're seeing angels.

I am sending happy Birthday wishes to Azahria too!! When I read you blog I was happy and sad at the same time you see I lost a child 2 years ago (early in the PG) and I know the pain and it is not easy. I always wonder about the "what if's" - and NO! you are not "PSYCHOTIC " (LOL) A bond between mother and child is very powerful beyond belief its a bond that weaves lasting memories. That is why I look at my litle girl everyday and I say thank you Jesus for blessing us with our little girl. (I know you understand that feeling) You and your DH have been blessed twice and you are going to be a GREAT mother!! Great Parents!
