10-7-2009 - PLEASE HELP!

My mood while writing this blog: worried

OK here's the thing, my sil is in town with her hubby and kids. I haven't seen my sil in like two years, cause she doesn't like me and plus she moved to boston MA. But thats not the point, in 2005 I moved in with my now DH and his parents, my sil and bil didn't like it but they thought it was temp til we got our own place, well that took a year, she didn't like that fact that Dh wasn't in college and now I was in his life again, that's another story! So she started to act really shitty to my inlaws and stopped speaking to mil, we have never really figured that one out as to why, so Dh and I tried to make it work with sil and bil but I was hurting his mom cause her daughter wouldn't speak to her and never got to see the only grandchild my niece, so Dh said he didn't want to see his mom upset so he stopped talk and seeing his sis. Well Oct. 2007 his sis calls out of the blu and says Im 7 months pregnant and I wanted you to know. This upsets my mil even more cause how could we not tell her, Dec 3 the baby was born and we got was a pic text, not a pleaser come and see the new baby, nothing.We have NEVER met our nephew. The next day I found out I was pregnant, DH has talked to his sis twice in the last like 19 months and NEVER said a word about me being pregnant, or that we had a baby, or that we have a daughter! Now she's in town and wants to see DH, I don't even know if she thinks we are still together, let only we have a kid together. And know we are going to my niece's 5th birthday and he still DID NOT TELL HER WE HAVE A CHILD! That going to be a fight, but I hope not, cause I had a dream the other night that we were going to see them at this birthday party and everything worked out ok, I'm hoping it comes true! But my mil is not going to be happy cause she is using DH to try and reach out to her daughter, when sil wants nothing to do with her, mil didn't know they were in town until she ask me if we had heard from them, cause she had a dream about them. PLEASE HELP, we need to go and try to reconnect DH and sil only have each other and their parents and a hand ful of fil family left in this world. I just do know what to do without them knowing about YAZMYN and I want my baby to meet her oly two cousins, what should I do???????????????????????????????????????????????????

WOW sounds like your SIL is a real piece of work, im not sure im following but she is mad at HER parents for letting YOU and YOUR husband live with them for a while????? First none of her buisness and second why would she stop talking to them and not you guys?>???? i feel sorry for your MIL she was obviously just trying to help out one son, and now her daughter has wrote her off like that? I feel for you that is a tough situatiuon. If i were you i would definitly go and show off your baby girl, and tell her your expecting again. your sil needs to know that LIFE didnt stop just because of her tantrum. maybe she will start to feel diffrently when she realizes your MIL has a great relationship with your kids and her kids are the ones missing out becasue she cant grow up, on the other hand i would find it difficult to be nice to her when she has been so crappy to you and her own mother!! let me know how it turns out! good luck

Wow!! Your SIL is not the nicest person. It sounds like to me there is really nothing you can do. Always be nice to her, but her behavior is outta control. I think there is more to the story on why she isn't talking to her own mother.
Just try to be nice and just start trying to keep the lines of communication open. Try just sending her pics of yazzy and/or writing her. My mom always told me to kill them with kindness. This is by no means your fault, the SIL is alienating everyone and blaming you.I know it sucks. My husbands brothers wife hates me. Colin is 41 and I am 28 and we have been together since I was 18. Well, since day one she has talked crap about me.Her nick name for me is "Candy Ass". She has never met Presley and refuses to talk to me. Honestly I could give two craps if she hates me, but it pisses me off she has nothing to do with Presley. I just don't get people like that!!

On another note....aren't you currently expecting, again??
