Hi ladies, I wanted to share something with you all. My aunt told me that the midwifes massage your tummy (I’m guessing the part where you carry a baby, uterus) than you fall pregnant. She told me that back in the days when women couldn’t afford the doctors there were midwifes who knew about herbs and massages and deliver the babies without medicines. So she told me that many people today that go with a midwife she will do some type of massage and you may fall pregnant. She has told me from a lot of cases and herself being one. Also my other aunt too, my mom recommended me going and have my tummy massage. I was talking today to this lady at my lunch time here at work and she told me that her sister in law went through IVF and didn’t get pregnant, she’s been trying for a long time now with different medicines and nothing so she went to this midwife apparently she is old and the midwife told her that the reason why she couldn’t get pregnant was because her uterus was tilted…and she massage her and fix it…so we will see…I’m thinking of going too hey what do you have to lose…is just a massage right? Anyone heard about that…Is an old wife’s tale….so many of you might be familiar….!

hmm, interesting! i would say go for it - what can it hurt. my uterus is tilted & the only time i got preggy was when i stayed in bed for at least 30 min after we bd'ed. let me know how everything works out.

wow I have to say I think it is a great idea and I think you should deffinately go for it and please let me know how it goes. I think it works as a rub on the tummy from the midwife can actually help start stopped contractions so i would be really interested to see how it all goes, good luck xxxx

That's interesting and definitely something to look into! Accupuncurists do the same thing. They perscribe herbs and massage the pelvic area to increase blood flow "chi" to the female organs to achieve pregnancy. Let me know if you find someone in our area and how much they are, if you don't mind.
