So, baby Drew is sleeping and I'm sitting here. I can't believe that it was a week ago tonight that we brought Drew home from the hospital. We got home around 10:00 PM and my mom had made a wonderful meatloaf for us and had it waiting on us. Patrick turned the oven on when we came in and our kitty kat, Sid was so happy to see us. Not too sure what to make of baby Drew but was very glad that we were finally home. Lots of purrs from him. LOL
We ate our dinner and Drew started to cry and It hit me that we were "ON OUR OWN" and that part scared me to death. What if this happens.........................What if that happens?.............................What if, what if, what if?!!! AGHHHHHHHHH!
Made it through night #1 and it's gotten easier and easier since then.
Whew thank goodness!
Now I am more confident with him. I mean, I'm still learning, but aren't we all as first time mommies???

So you gusy got to spend your first night together with Drew alone? Our family lives out of state, so when they come out, they'll be staying over night. I almost want people to come out AFTER he's born (maybe by just a few days) so Rob and I can bond with the baby by ourselves. But then again I totally want to have people around for the celebration!!!! How are things going now? Do you have a schedule or just feeling him when he's hungry? Ar eyou breast feeding? I still haven't figured out what I am going to do. :)
