| 02-8-2008 - Very concerned mommy | My mood while writing this blog:worried |
Okay so there probably isn't anything to be worried about but I am. For the last couple of days I've begun to think Drew might not be able to hear. I know it sounds weird but it's true. Tonight when I put him down to bed he was just sound asleep. I was putting clothes away in his room and acidentally bumped the drawer closed on his dresser and it made this loud noise. I looked over and Drew was absolutely still. I went over near the crib and whistled and then opened and closed the door (rather loudly) and nothing! When I am holding him and making faces he smiles and coos back. I tried doing the same faces only without making any noise and he responded the same way. Somehow I have worried myself into thinking that because nothing really startles him that something is wrong. It doesn't matter what the noise is that we are making; he just doesn't seem to respond. Please convince me that I'm just overly worried and that my son is normal.
Love to you all,
Making herself crazy
M
