| 11-10-2008 - Whoo Hooo | My mood while writing this blog:Happy |
Isn't is just so hillarious how us new mommies get so excited over the funniest things. LOL
At Drew's 4 month Dr. visit we were told not to try solid foods until he reached closer to 5 1/2 - 6 months. The Dr. said that they are finding that the longer they push babies to eat solids, the less likely they are to have food allergies. (I know all Pediatricians are different) =)
Well, on Monday of this week Patrick bought Drew Stage 1 bananas, sweet potatoes and pears. Well.............we "liked" the bananas with a few funny faces. Yesterday we tried the sweet potatoes and we "really" liked them a lot! He was like a little bird opening his mouth up for more. hahaha! It was so cute! Of course I had my camera out! I'll post pics soon.
I know that he is teething tremendously right now. Always drooling and his gums feel so hard. Loves EVERYTHING including his little toes (so limber aren't they?!) in his mouth.
We bought Drew an exersaucer (for those of you who don't own one.....GO GET ONE - THEY ARE AWESOME)! HE LOVES IT! Every time he pushes a new button on it I go crazy. I find myself clapping and getting so excited with him. LOL
Drew can completely roll over (only to his right side) from his back to his tummy but can't seem to roll back to his tummy again. Therefore he gets really upset and very frustrated. We have tried to "help" him a bit but he hasn't figured out how to do it yet on his own. I am nervous because even though we are still swaddling him at night and he is still in his sleep positioner; last night he wriggled out of both (Harry Houdini) and wound up at the foot of his bed. I'm worried that he rolls over (which he is going to do, I know) and then will get mad because he gets himself stuck) in the middle of the night. WHAT do I do? Any suggestions?
As I know that Suzanne is giggling her head off while she reads this, LOL I'll close for now as we are going to eat lunch before my munchkin wakes up from his nap.
Love to you all.
Happy Mommy
I am loving every minute of every day just watching the new things that he does.
