05-2-2009 - 9 months old today

My mood while writing this blog: Happy and Sad

Well today my little man is 9 months old! We're going to the Dr. today to get the last of this series of shots and to see how my little butter bean is growing. I just can't wrap my brain around the fact that he is 9 months old already. I've had to take so many clothes out of his closet that he can't wear anymore and put them away. It makes me sad in a way. I mean it was "just" yesterday that he was a little tiny baby. NOW he is my little man! What happened to the time?!

Then I look at him and he smiles so big and I would swear that he says Mama but I think it's my mind "wanting" him to say it. I want a name! =)

Drew has 4 teeth and 2 more coming in and therefore we are changing clothes like crazy. Sudden bursts of yelling due to the little sharp pains in his gums occur and anything and everything goes into the mouth for comfort. Poor baby. This is the one thing that mommies have a hard time with because we can "try" to sooth their gums but until these little pearly whites come in, it's tough!

Drew also doesn't like to sit still very long. (Like his mommy & daddy) =) He is constantly pulling himself up and walking around while holding onto things. So inquisitive. He looks at his toys like he wants to take them apart and then figure out how they work. hahaha

We are "trying" Stage 3 foods but Drew makes these really funny faces and we have figured out that he LOVES his Stage 2 food but no way is he interested in the 3 stuff. We don't think he likes the way it all tastes. Mommy has even tried mixing it on the spoon with the fruit and NO WAY! hahaha

Every day is a new day with new challenges and new laughs and new pics too. I am still loving being home with him and wouldn't change that for anything. I would still do it all over again the same way.
