13-10-2008 - just rambling

My mood while writing this blog:
excited, impatient

This sunday is my baby shower and it just hit me how close I really am to the end. A few people who i really want to be there arent going to be able to make it but i can understand that atleast they are kind enough to let me know ahead of time so i wont be sitting there waiting on all these people to show up and they dont. I can totally understand why a few of them cant come, some live out of state and some just cant afford the gas to come and one of my moms friends father is on the verge of passing so i totally understand why shes not. My aunt stopped by my sisters work this afternoon and dropped by some gifts since she and my cousin cant come this weekend which was really sweet. i told mom to tell them they didnt have to, im sorry but if you arent coming even if you are you dont have to bring anything i just want ya there. Clint was telling me his mom and grandma were going nuts which im sorry took me by total suprise , its taken a while but his mom is finally warming up i think, and i did kinda expect his grandma to go crazy about the baby just cause i know how crazy she goes over her grandkids. i just wish my grandma and my grandpa could be here to see it and that his grandpa could too. especially our grandpas so he could go to them for the dad advice which i know hes wishing he could have more of. our grandpas both pretty much played the father roles in our lives since on both sides our parents divorced while we were young. i know hes scared cause he wonders wether or not hes going to be a good dad like his wasnt. we have had friends from church tell him not to worry too much about it and if he needs to he can talk to them. anyways. back to where i started at lol. the baby shower is this weekend and honestly its something i never expected to happen. i never expected to be having a baby because for so long i tried with my ex and never got anywhere i think mainly cause he didnt want another baby and had told me towards the end the reason i didnt have one yet was cause i didnt deserve one. well lol after only being with clint for a few months apparently god thought i deserved one cause without trying and trying to hold off till we had been together a while and wait till after we had gotten married to try. i got pregnant while using protection! she may have been a suprise but she is definately a welcomed suprise on our end and we couldnt be happier. shes all i ever wanted now all thats missing is the little boy lol whos name is pretty much already picked. This baby is just proof the end is in sight. only 5 1/2 weeks to go and i cant believe it! I cant wait to see her and i cant wait to hold her in my arms, cant wait to take her to her first day of school and i cant wait to get that first phone call from school saying shes done beat the hell out of some little boy who wouldnt quit bugging her lol (just like her mama).
I cant wait to see what she looks like, i bet shes gonna look like her daddy with my brown hair, though she will more than likely have curly hair considering both of us have extremely curly hair. Im just getting impatient and want my lil bannah out. I have been looking at all of her clothes and trying to imagine her little body in them which makes me even more impatient lol. oh well mom did warn me that it would drag on in the last few weeks of the pregnancy. well im done for now i have a drs appt in the morning and 2 on wednsday. ill give yall more updates this weekend cause im gonna be going nuts this weekend cleaning and be too busy to check my profiles or anything like that. so ill let everyone know sunday how things went.

the ultrasound went wonderful this morning and the drs appt this afternoon was great. im so glad i have only 1 of each of those drs appts left. cuts back down on the gas a little. btw they said that savannah is about 4 lbs 2 oz now which is actually exactly what i told my mom and fiance she was going to weigh on the next one lol.

had a drs appt today i think that this was the quickest i have ever been in and out of that drs office maybe i should start showing up 30-45 minutes early for all of their appts. lol. also it was a new dr he walked in and i just kinda looked at him lol wasnt expecting a guy to walk in, they had told me when i was setting up the first appt with them that they only had women drs. but he was really nice kinda looked like an old time country dr walked in in a flannel shirt jeans and boots just totally threw me off lol and he was really nice. told me the baby was measuring big but it could just be from the way shes positioned. asked him if the tailbone hurting was normal he said it was just where shes down low. in which case owwww i wish she would move!!! oh and her heart beat was 152. and ps shes going absolutely nuts in there right now!!! the day kind of started out on a bad note cause i was sick as a dog this morning but atleast now im not sick and hurting lol, now my knees and tail bone are aching
