20-10-2009 - New Update on Savannah

Well Savannah is 10 months old now and I really cant believe in under 2 months my baby girl will already be a year old. She is doing so well. She has been pulling up for a few months now and walking along things. Recently she has learned to stand up without holding on to anything and shes been taking a few steps here and there. Usually its only 2 or 3 unless its to one of her cousins holding something sweet lol. She is crazy about her cousins Allen and Jack they are all going to be so close growing up its going to be more like they are brothers and sister like allen i were closer to being brother and sister than aunt and nephew. Shes learned mama and dada and she has learned to say ba for her bottle. We finally figured out when she says ma shes isnt trying to say mama it means that shes saying mine lol. My mom and I took her shopping on the 11th after my nephew Jacks birthday party and I think I'm going to be in trouble when she gets older. She screamed at me when I put an outfit back to find one that would fit her and then when I found one she grabbed it and hugged it and just gave me the biggest smile like yay thank you mommy I love it! I couldnt help but crack up over that. First words out of my moms and my mouth were aunt Laura is going to love when you get older cause shes gonna have a shopping buddy. My sister is already buying her birthday presents while I'm still not sure what kind of themed birthday party Im going to be throwing her. I know she will have 2 of them cause well her daddy and I aren't together anymore so she will have one with his family and one with mine. Hopefully mommy and daddy will be present at both. She gets to talk to daddy every day and he always calls her to tell her good night and he loves her so I gotta give him credit for that. Hes a good daddy after all and they are crazy about each other. Just certain circumstances are keeping us apart. Although no matter whats going on with her she is number one for both of us and she will have all the love in the world she could ever possibly want. She is such a wonderful baby she deserves the best of everything and even if daddy isnt here 24/7 Im going to do my best to make sure she has it. I have 2 great role models for being a single mother. Although I would much rather it not be this way i see no other choice at the moment. Ok I rambled a little to long about that. back to Savannah. She is suppose to be going with her daddy and his mom to a pumpkin patch this weekend which is kinda sad cause I was wanting to take her to her first pumpkin patch for her first halloween but oh well atleast ill get pictures from the little trip. Shes so beautiful and she is getting sooooo big now. She was 27 in and 19lbs 6 oz at her 9 month appt. I was looking at all of the preemie clothes in the store and kept thinking to myself awww I remember when my baby could fit into that stuff and it still kinda swollowed her whole but it looks like it would have fit her now lol. Shes still built like her dad, long and skinny she can still wear the 0-3 months in the skirts and shorts but its gotten to cold for that. I have fun shopping for pants for her cause all of the pants I have to get her to fit her legs have to be 12 months but they constantly fall off her little booty. We have decided that she will be a Georgia Bulldogs Cheerleader. We just have to make a little alteration to her outfit and put some leggings on her since its already gotten too cold for her to just wear the cheerleading outfit. Cant wait to take her trick or treating for the first time. Goin to Trick or Treat on Main St then going around our neighborhood, then maybe making a trip around my friends at least part of it its wayyyyyy to big to do the whole neighborhood but its been the place to go trick or treating since I was little. Well its time to go get some stuff done just thought that I would update people on how Savannah was doing while she is having her morning nap. Oh yeah she hasnt had any teeth come in yet but I think I seen 2 bottoms ones coming last night while she was screaming at me cause she was so tired lol. Hope everyone has a wonderul week.

aw precious.. it goes by fast.. I actually just got done with a blog about my little man being 10 months now.. it goes by too fast.. i do the same thing, when i see the little premie things. gosh my little man used to wear those and they barely fit! now he wears 12 month clothes.. i just cant believe it.. lol
