06-6-2009 - Bat in my house

My mood while writing this blog: scared and irritated

So I was getting ready to go to bed and I heard this cricket sounding noise upstairs. My bf wasn't ready for bed so I said I was scared to go up but instead of him being a nice bf he stayed on his computer. Well anyways I decided to go in the baby's room just to look at the fresh paint and imagine what it will be like when she comes home. Well after leaving her room two of my cats were staring at me and the noise came back so I moved the shoe in the hallway and there was a bat under the shoe. Well I screamed at the top of my lungs and I think he thought I was in labor because he came running up the stairs and when I told him it was a bat he was kind of mean to me because I wouldnt help him catch it. Well anyway an hour later and he got it out. Come to find out he put a fan in the spare bedroom without putting a screen behind it. Well I am off to bed...

Wow a bat in the house! That would freak me the heck out!! I had a huge wolf spider drop out of my towel when I got out of the shower the other day and I called for the cat LOL Figured he might eat it or something. I screamed as well.

Let me tell you about my story on a damn bat in my house one day i was cleaning and my spare closet is where our vent to our swamp cooler is so its a closet that has just a couple of things in it that has been sitting there for 3 yrs and when i walked by it and smelled this horrible smell and come to find out i opened up the close to find a dead bat in this old trash can was a dead bat i freaked out and my husband who had just got home from his night shift at work comes running out the bedroom and thought something happened said whats going on i said a bat get it out he laughed and said its dead i said i dont give a shit. he laughed and got rid of it now my daughter goes around saying shit mommy bat........
