My mood while writing this blog: sick |
Well today was my 33 week check-up. It went very well I was originally high risk but have been demoted. I have been cleared for the waterbirth. It will be at the hospital not home but I have to get a midwife and I lose my doctor. I also have one more ultrasound to check her weight because she was measuring big and then I start my weekly appointments. I am so excited. We are also looking into hypnobirthing. I am getting very anxious to meet her. The nursery will be done later this week after we hang up the molding and put a few finishing touches on the wall. I am sick as a dog I think it may be bronchitis but the nurse thought allergies? If I do not get much better by tomorrow I will go to the doctors to see what is going on. I start lamaze and breastfeeding classes in 3 weeks.

Wednesday, 17 Jun Have you considered a laminated tile for the babe's room? It sounds like you really despise the carpeting! Daddy could rip it out and some tiles have adhesive on the back; you just peel off the sticker. We redid one of my parents' rooms in that and it was super easy to use, no grout. Just have to make sure the floor is even (a little sanding). We got our tiles at a closeout store and paid so little for them, and we bought extra in case any need to be replaced. Then you can pick out super cute throw rugs (ehem, you could use bambi!).
Congrats on the decision for a midwife and waterbirth. These are big decisions for a first time mama to come to, and sometimes for a first time papa to deal with! I think you'll have a great time of it. We loved hypnobirthing! Baby-Beiler -

Thursday, 11 Jun That's Great news!!
You'll have to let me know how the waterbirth goes.
as i am planning on doing that with my next child.
(also i wanted to say, i had really bad allergies when i was pregnant, and i felt sick all the time...so it could be allergies.)
hope you get better soon.
