29-6-2009 - My weekend

My mood while writing this blog: sun burnt

Well this weekend was crazy busy. I had 3 kids spend the night friday(2 teenagers and a 10 yr old) we didn't really do much except get stuff ready for the garage sale I had on saturday. Well we went to bed at like 3am and got up at 7:50am saturday and started setting up for the garage sale it started raining so I hesitated on bringing everything out. Well by 12 I was ready for bed. Well it rained on and off all day so at 1 I closed. I only made $40 so it wasn't worth it. But I did take 3 carloads of stuff to the salvation army and I took 3 big garbage bags to a consignment store and they accepted all but 1 bag of stuff so hopefully I make some money there. Well anyways by the time I took all the stuff to the salvation army it was like 4 so I showered and we took the 3 kids home and got the sister of the 3. She spent the night and we colored and she massaged my feet(that was great). Well we went to bed at like 2am and got up at 12. I was still exhausted so I napped in the chair for like 1 hour. We then went out for a ride and let the kid pick the direction we went so that was kind of fun. Then at 6:30 we picked up 2 more girls to spend the night so we had 3 kids spend the night sunday. Well we played the wii and I let them do some sidewalk chalk and we watched Paul Blart mall cop(stupid movie). Well today I got up at 10:45 to get everyone ready for the park and the kids were screwing around and knocked a big shelf off my wall and broke a bunch of stuff that can't be replaced. I was pissed. Well anyways we left the house at like 12:30 went and picked up the 2 teenage boys and went to this park. While we were there the boys went fishing and the girls and I went swimming but before I got into the water I sunbathed and overheard these people making fun of me because of how big I am. They said I needed to have an emergency c-section because I have been pregnant for so long. They also said my belly looked fake like one you can buy at the store. I was soo upset. They didn't have much room to talk(sorry if this offends anybody) they were like 300 pounds. My feelings were hurt a little. Well I was kid free at about 7pm. So my weekend was crazy. I still have a busy week. Two doctor appointments and lamaze classes.

You should have gone over and said "Yeah? I'm going to loose 20lbs in one day, you're going to be that size forever..."

Sounds like you had a really busy weekend! Don't know how you have the strength or energy this late on! I can barely manage to cook dinner without getting exhausted! xxx

Wow. How rude of those people to say that!!! I swear, people are so stupid. Being pregnant is a miracle and anyone who makes fun of that is out of their mind!! At least your belly will go away after your little one gets here...Theirs won't!!

Gosh I was exhausted reading about your weekend LOL My weekend was crazy too I thought until I ready this! Hope you get some rest and relaxation this week and don't push yourself too hard. And it would hurt my feelings too if someone was making fun of me but hey at least you are pregnant and not obese.

Sounds like you had a full weekend, mine was full of spending money on plane tickes.... and cooking thats about it lol.

Aww, honey, put your feet up! And keep in mind that the gawkers are mindless. Your burgeoning belly is a world-wide, cross-culture and deep into history a symbol of fertility, sexiness (hafta have sex to get there...), and youth. I can only assume from your description that they were feeling zero amount of virility and were upset that you had a great reason to be big in a bathing suit! I am not as sweet as you, as I DEF would've gone over there. Maybe pointed to their bellies and asked when THEIR babies were due...
