28-7-2009 - At hospital

My mood while writing this blog: irritated

Well got at the hospital last night and started the cervidil and it softened my cervix a little but I am still at 1cm and 60% effaced. I have been on pitocin since about 10 am and I have been having contractions 1-2 minutes apart but nothing happening with the cervix. So they are checking me at 6pm and if I am not dilated they will stop the pitocin and start cervidil again tonight and the pitocin again tomorrow and if that doesnt work they are sending me home and making me come back later this week or next. I will be so upset if I do not have her until August. My parents came into town yesterday and I am not sure they would be able to come back. Well this is my update and I will update as soon as I know whats going on later tonight maybe tomorrow.

You poor thing!! Yes, we are all chanting "baby, baby" so your parents can see the little one and you can be comfortable. I hope you are not in pain hon. Wishing you the best of luck!!!

Ask for a cs....they say there is a reason why you only dilate to a point, the baby could be to big, or your hips to small.
