Third Trimester!

Sunday 16th February - 28 weeks, i have had the roughest time with Kenneth, we offically broke up because i am straining myself too much emotionally trying to work things out with him and he won't budge. I know i will lose this baby if i keep doing it. So because of everything, i am now facing reality, i am going to be a single mum. I had my glucose test, i'm waiting on the results. I'm still on bedrest and i have to give up driving in less than a week to avoid early labour. So the next 10 weeks are going to be really hard. The medication i am on makes me really tired and out of it. Not good. I also saw my midwife who measured me up and said i look 2.5 weeks ahead! Wow, he's gunna be a big boy.. I just wish could share this exciting time with someone.

Saturday february 23 2008 - 29 weeks. Wow, feels like yesterday i was typing about 28 weeks. This week has been a blur. I've been pretty unstable. I'm getting some guidence councelling, I found out Kenneth Cheated on me last friday just Yesterday. I'm pretty shocked but i haven't shed a single tear. I hope that i can get stronger for my little boy. I went to my midwife appointment last week and she measured me 31 weeks instead of 28.3 weeks, so i'm a little worried, but he'll catch up or hell be a big baby! 11 weeks to go.

Wednesday March 5th 2008 - 30 weeks. Well this week slowed down massively. Its been a really rough week, very slow and boring, felt like it went forever! The baby has been moving around lots, more somersaults then kicks, trying to work things out with my ex partner, i'm hoping he'll be there for the birth, but i am keeping my fingers crossed! Feeling a little more optimistic and postitive. Everything will be okay.

Tuesday March 11th 2008 - 31 Weeks. Well i had a very interesting week.. Yesterday i went into hospital because i was having severe "tightenings". It was too early for me to have bubs so, they were going to send me to Another hospital where they are more advanced in the fields with 31 week old pre-mature babies.. So i'm on some strong pain relief medication and anti-contraction medication and i am resting.. Fingers Crossed he holds out till at least 36 weeks!!!!

Saturday March 22nd 2008 - 33 Weeks. 2 weeks have flown by! God. Its been pretty full on, was trying to work things out with Kenneth, but he's just being horrible, so i have to give up and move on. Bubs has been pretty good, its interesting feeling him kick my ribs and seeing his knees and feet sticking out of my belly! I had my first ante-natal class, it was awkward, i was the only one there without my partner, amongst 20 something couples, i was the only one there with my mother. Sadly thats the way it goes. I felt so neglected and alone. I don't think he'll be there for the birth. Pretty Depressing. Not long to go.

Friday 18th April 2008 - 36/37 weeks.. Well its been a while since i have written anything on here, time has just flown so quickly! Getting excited about bubby coming! I have my last antenatal class on Tuesday, they went so quickly also.. So i am all prepared for it all to happen! I woke up at 5am this morning with lower abdominal cramping and what i thought were small contractions, i have been urinating every hour or so and i feel lower backache and funny twinges in my pelvis that can become painful, so i am not sure.. Could this be bubs on the way?! I'm so excited i just found out my friend is pregnant too! She due on the 13th Of december! I'm so happy for her!!!

Monday 21st April 2008 - 37 Weeks - Well i think bubby is ready to come! I've got the most unusual sensations occuring right now, his little head is burrowed nice and low and i can feel his little head moving back and forth, and his fingers moving around down there! On sunday i had some contractions and lower back ache and i lost some fluid, but i think it was urine cuz i didn't have any other contractions that became regular.. I'm hoping he's not far off i can't wait to meet him!!

Monday April 28th 2008 - 38 Weeks 2 days.. Well countdown continuing! I want it over i am so tired, been getting backache like crazy and period like pains but i don't know how much longer i have to go, unless he decides to make his arrival on his due date (ahahaha yea right) Been trying to keep myself busy had a few cravings - Vanilla slices, chocolate milk (Nesquik and Milk) more sweet stuff - i was told that when you carry a boy that you crave more sweet than savoury.. could that be true? I haven't eaten much savoury this pregnancy.. dunno!! He's decided to swap sides so he was once facing Right, Now he's decided he wants to face left! But he's sitting in a funny position so i hope he starts making his move soon!!!
