27-11-2008 - Happy Thanksgiving

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Good evening and Happy Thanksgiving to my US friends. I am indeed thankful for all of the wonderful ladies here. To my overseas buddies, good Friday morning. I'll be sleeping in tomorrow and chilling with my doggies, I don't do the Black Friday shopping thing, I'm not really into crowds.

So I didn't exactly flip pancakes today like my blog picture, but I did cook my butt off and we had a wonderful meal together, way too much good food and amazingly, no conflict, which is saying something when it comes to my family. The kids were, well, they were kids. You can't expect not to encounter a tantrum or 2 when you're dealing with a 2 year old girl, 3 year old boy, and 7 going on 17 year old girl. But all in all, it was a very nice day.

On the TTC front, my EWCM only seemed to really start Tuesday, but then yesterday Wednesday, I felt like I was Oing. And sure enough, I had the super watery CM this morning that comes near O. All the OPKs have been negative, but this is my first month using them and they are el cheapo ones off ebay. If I did indeed O yesterday, that would be 4 days after my last BD, so there would be a very, very tiny chance of conception. Certainly not likely, but not completely impossible. (DH is away at his hunting cabin and won't be home until Saturday night, so that's why the lack of BDing during EWCM.)

So, I'm thinking that I'm now in the 2WW, as unlikely as PG is, but not really sure. I will keep up the OPKs for the next couple days, but it already seems like my CM is drying up tonight.

FRIDAY UPDATE: Well, CM is back today, so I guess I didn't O after all. Maybe the turkey food coma screwed me up a bit. DH will be home tomorrow night, so I think there's still a chance!
