06-1-2009 - Into the 2WW

My mood while writing this blog: OK

Well, O time is here, which makes me a happy camper. Today is CD27. I've had EWCM since the end of last week. But I didn't get my positive OPK until yesterday, which is supposed to be like 24 hours before O. And yet, last night, I had ovary pain the entire evening that had to be the big O. Even BD last night was a bit uncomfortable. Today I feel nothing, like the show is over. Not sure what to make of that, but I'm using the el cheapo OPK test strips off ebay, so who knows? Our fertile time BDing was only last night and Saturday night, but I'm still hopeful. We are just not cut out for BDing every day. But DH has been a sport about BDing on demand. He was already asleep last night and still "put out" for me. LOL

I've been sick with fever and joint pains and am going back to the doctor tomorrow to discuss a few blood test results of mine that were off. But I feel much better, so I'm hoping whatever it was is over. I battled with whether or not we should put TTC on hold until we get answers, but I'm turning 37 this weekend, so we can't afford to keep waiting. Speaking of which, I guess I won't be having free shots at the bar from my friends for my bday. If that witch AF shows up, I may just have to have a one week late birthday celebration.
