23-3-2009 - On to the next cycle

My mood while writing this blog: OK

It's been an interesting week for me. Last Monday at 8DPO, I started cramping. I had various cramps, and lower back pains, and stretching pains all week long, in fact on 10 DPO, I had bad enough lower back pain to wake me up during the night. Then Saturday, which was 13 DPO, I felt so awful, got a terrible headache, queasiness in my stomach, and exhausted, it was exactly the same as the last time I was PG. Considering my luteal phase has been 11 days for the past bunch of cycles in a row, I was sure I was PG. Then very late Saturday night, DH and I were watching a movie and I noticed that pretty suddenly, I felt great, all of my crummy symptoms disappeared. I POAS yesterday (14 DPO) and it was BFN. Then I started spotting yesterday, and the spotting is a little heavier today, plus another BFN today, so I think AF is here. The mind can sure play some tricks when you're TTC.

I do hope that my luteal phase stays longer, maybe that will give me a good chance of conceiving in the future. I'm not disappointed. DH and I had issues this month with the timing anyway. We only BDed once during my fertile time.
