24-4-2009 - Not wonderful, not horrible OKMy mood while writing this blog:
OK

Good afternoon ladies. I spoke with the OB nurse this morning, and my test results came back and my hCG was negative and my progesterone was normal, so I do not have a little bean. ALL of my other blood tests also came back normal.

And in fact, I had some lower back pain yesterday morning, but that's been it for the cramps and pain. Today my lower lady parts feel completely normal.

But I felt awful this morning still, shaky and with a headache, so I checked my blood pressure at home and it was pretty high. So I went to my general practicioner this morning. My BP has always been normal before, so I don't know what prompted this. But apparently, it's what has been making me feel so awful. He advised that at my current level I didn't necessarily need to take medication, but since I'm so symptomatic, it would be a good idea to treat it. So he gave me a very low dose of something safe during PG (since I'll be TTC if AF ever shows up) and we'll keep a close eye on it.

As for AF, she's still nowhere to be seen. The OB nurse mentioned my OB doctor had made a note that he may use provera to jumpstart AF, but he hasn't called back yet.

I still feel a little lost, like I don't have all the answers, but at least it would appear at this point that it's not some sinister thing like ectopic, which is good.

Thank you ladies for your support. Hopefully my next update will be that AF has arrived and my BP is under control!

Abigails Mommy - Sunday, 3 May
Becky I hope you're feeling better by now. Sorry I was so late with the support! Has the doctor said anything else?
