20-8-2009 - What a difference a week can make

My mood while writing this blog: relieved

So I'm ovulating today, FINALLY on CD 58. I'm really glad. I was starting to wonder if my body had gone totally haywire and I was gonna need provera.

DH and I did BD once, on Tuesday evening, after a couple drinks and a nice dinner. It was difficult since we were being careful, and he was pretty sore at his surgery incision sites afterwards, and I had to be on top, not the best baby making circumstances, but the deposit was made. If we could have BDed again tonight, I'd actually be pretty hopeful for a possible BFP, but but he's away tonight. :( But at least there is a small chance.

When I got PG the first time, we only had sex once during my fertile time, it was on a Tuesday night after we went out for a few drinks and dinner, I was on top and I was recovering from surgery. If I was superstitious... LOL

So I'm still feeling the void and mourning my lost baby, and my job is still a weight on my shoulders, but at least I have a job and things are looking up for the moment.

I am going to the beach for 2 weeks starting next weekend, so I'm going to set an appt for after I return with my OBGYN for my yearly checkup so we can talk about my ridiculously long cycles and see if we want to pursue HSG or any other testsing.

DH and I have also been eating healthier together, and he's started walking the dogs with me too, so I hope we can stick with it. We both need to lose weight and I've found that I feel like 1000% more accountable for my actions with my DH in it together with me. Guilt is a powerful thing, but in this case a good thing!
