13-9-2009 - back from the beach OKMy mood while writing this blog:
OK

I'm back from my beach trip. The weather sucked most of the time, and we were flooded in, but at least it was a break from work.

I started taking a daily B-50 complex when I ovulated this time around and I've kept it up since then, since my LP has been shorter than average in the past.

This cycle, I did spot a bit at 12 DPO, as I reported in my blog, but then I had nothing for 2 days. Then on 14 DPO, a little more spotting, and finally on 15 DPO, AF really did arrive. So that's a better luteal phase than I've had. Weird thing though is that my BBs were a little sore from 13 DPO to 15 DPO. The only other time my BBs have been sore in my life was the last time I was PG.

AF was absolutely brutal, worse than after my D&C. TMI warning. After a much lighter than usual start, on CD3, I started having bad cramping and heavier flow. I put in a super absorbent tampon at 2AM when I went to bed and woke up at 7AM in alot of pain and I had bled enough to saturate the tampon and leak on the bed. It was so painful I had to take advil the rest of that day. And I bled heavily for the next 24 hours. After all that, AF lasted another 5 days. YIKES!

I don't really think I had a very early M/C, but probably either the very long cycle, or the B-6 adjusting my hormones was responsible, or both, or neither. ??

I will be calling tomorrow to set an appt with my OBGYN. I know I won't get any answers at first, but if we can make a plan for some testing, that would be good for me. I'd also like to get their take on supplements and why my cycles are so whacked.

Thanks for listening, I'll blog after my appt with an update. And keep BDing with my wonderful DH in the meantime.

Sounds like the vitamins are working! I really hope it wasn't an actual super early m/c....that would stink.

I started taking b-6 and prenatals when my cycle was late hoping to get my hormones balanced after my iud and I came on very heavy also, bled through a pad in 1 hour. I had never had a period that heavy. Well I hope we both get BFP's soon.

I'm glad your vacation was nice despite the weather.. sometimes it's nice to just sit back and watch it rain.. but not day after day lolI'm glad your cycle was shorter but I'm so sorry about the pain. The painful heavy ones are way bleh... I had a "nice" AF too... it almost felt like a cleansing after all those meds.Keep us updated!!!

Hey girl - my cycle buddy is back!! Yeah!! My af sounded like yours - tmi alert** - my super plus tampon would last me no more than 2 hours!! I couldn't go anywhere - as soon as I hit 1 1/2-2 hours - it would leak all over - what a mess!!! So crossing my fingers and my toes that this month will be our month!!
