07-12-2009 - AF is leaving optimistic, sort ofMy mood while writing this blog:
optimistic, sort of

Hey everyone, just wanted to post a quick update. My blood tests came back completely normal.

I did my 10 days with Provera, well, actually only 9 b/c that's when AF showed up. I had 5 really light almost spotting days, then the first normal AF I've had in quite some time. No bad pains, no super heavy flow, very normal. She's on her way out now.

DH didn't have his SA yet. We are both so busy, he went away for a week, blah, blah, blah. But we talked about it over the weekend and he's still on board, I will just need to remind him to make the appt.

I'm really hoping for something approximating a normal cycle this time. I'm temping and will use OPKs, cross your fingers for me!

I'm supposed to touch bases with my doctor again after I ovulate (or if I don't ovulate). I'm not to wait until I have an 85 day cycle this time around! Depending on what happens, and assuming I don't get PG this cycle, next cycle I will have the HSG, and we'll go from there.

You ladies are so sweet, especially those of you that have been through infertility testing and treatment and have offered advice and reassurance. I'm actually not scared at all, I'm sort of looking forward to getting some answers and feeling like I'm doing something about becoming PG, but it really means alot to me.

Hope you all enjoy your holidays.

I'm so happy that all your tests came back normal! All the tests aren't so bad really.. just alot of probing and pricking :-) We did the whole round also so I know what you're going through. It's very exciting to have answers! Hugs and fingers crossed for you!

Good luck girlie!! and you know what, all of these tests (blood or whatever needs to be done) they kind of shed light on whats going on in your body. That's what I thought. I see the Fertility Endocrinologist next week, Dec 16th. Now, I'm very anxious what he has to say. His office told me to plan a 2hr appt. Yikes!! Good luck!

Woo Hoo! I came on here to reply to your other message and saw this post. Cheers to a normal cycle and to a BFP before you have to get the HSG! I am just wrapping up my visit with AF too. It would be great to share the 2WW with you, and it looks like there are a few others out there too. I hope the joy of the season makes for a happy healthy O, and strong and happy swimmers too! Keep me posted and I will keep my fingers crossed for you. If this is not the month for the BFP then I agree that it would be nice to get some answers. GOOD LUCK!!! and a very Happy Holiday to you!
