12-4-2010 - OMG i'm sorry/update

My mood while writing this blog: tired

So I know half of you are mad at me...lol I have not been on in forever. I have 59 blogs/comments I have to read. I have been so busy the past few weeks its not even funny. Baby Emmy messed up all my morning stuff..lol I have been spending the last few weeks getting things done I could not do while pregnant. Here is my update on what has been going on.
Emmy is doing great. She will be 6 weeks on Wen. (and that is good news for me and Will...lol TMI we have been pushing the lines of "no sex for 6 weeks" to the point of almost breaking it..lol) I have healed nicely. Will is loving the fact I almost have my body back. He says I am back to my normal size, but I dont think I am quite yet. It does feel good to be back in my jeans. Emmy is eating about 4-6 oz every 3 hours. I know that the dr say not to put cereal in their bottles, but I am really thinking about it. The poor baby seems hungry all the time. She will eat then act like she is starving an hour and a half later. And it does not matter if she eats in an hour and a half or I make her wait the full 3... Her little tummy can only hold the 4-6 oz. It just does not hold her. She cries all the time rooting for her bottle. Her hair is getting lighter. Its not black anymore. Now the roots seem to be an almost light red. She is almost holding her head up, and she looks around at voices and watches people walk by. She LOVES music. Our house is full of music all the time. Mostly rock and metal. She would not calm down one night, so I played music on youtube. She really likes Disturbed..lol
Now on to the rest of life that is going on.... Do you remember me talking about my son and daughter getting hit by a car back in Nov. Well we JUST got my son over his leg. (if you dont remember/know he broke both the bones in the lower part of his leg and had to have rods put in. Was out of school for almost 2 months) He was just starting to walk with out a limp. Well 2 weeks ago he was out running and playing with the girls. He was running from one of my daughters friends and ran right into a brick wall with his arm out. Broke both the bones in the lower part of his arm. The bones set fine in his arm, and hes doing ok now. But it was his right arm, and hes right handed..lol We talked to his dr. about putting him in a bubble....lol We had to rush him to the ER by ambulance. Will was at work, so I had to have my 15 year old watch Emmy. It was not pretty. Emmy had one of her fits the whole 4 hours I was gone. Tori could not get her to calm down, and that made Tori stress. I could not make her understand if she was freaking out, Emmy could feel it and would not calm down. The up side is, Tori does not want kids for a LONG time..lol
I have had a few problems with Will and Emmys bio dad. Will cant stand him. He says if not for me and Emmy he could be friends with Chris, but he see him as a problem. We think Chris wants me and Emmy. I can understand that, and so does Will, but he does not like it. He also thinks its unfair that he is the one here with her everyday, and is taking on the role of daddy, but she does not have his name. He hates the fact that he has to deal with the day to day, and Chris gets the fun stuff. I told you about this fight once before. Well the 3 of us came to a middle ground. Emmy got my last name. I wanted to give Chris a chance to be there for her. I dont want to have to explain to her later that her father did want her, and we would not let him. So the deal is, for now she has my name. Before she starts school, if Chris has been there for her, and been a father like he should be, she can take his name. If not then Will is going to sign. That also gives Will and I the chance to make sure we are going to work out. Chris seems to be trying, but I dont think it will last for long. He watched her for Will and I to go out last week. He played hell with her the 3 hours he had her. He also cant seem to find the time to come see her, and lets everything else stand in his way.
Last thing on my update list... WILL ASKED ME TO MARRY HIM. Neither of us wanted to get married again, but we both want to spend our lives together. It was so cute how he asked me. We had been joking about it for like 2 weeks. He was hinting to the fact he had changed his mind and wanted to. I think he was scared I would say no and wanted to feel out the water. Neither one of us are very mushy people. So had he gone all out and did the one knee thing or something I think I would have laughed at him..lol Well we were uummm... teasing and tanting each other one night. We stopped before it went to far..lol and were just talking. He just out of the blue, I mean in mid sentence, just looked at me and said "Now will you marry me". I was floored. Did not know what to say. It is very hard to make me speechless, but he pulled it off..lol I told him it was a stupid question and he knew I would..lol Well as I have told you, we are not a normal family, we are a bit on the strange side. So the date is set for Oct. 31st at 12 am. It will also be a Celtic handfasting. My kids and his are very happy. My son is going to give me away. We are adding all of the kids to it. We both know it is not just us that are getting married, we will be marring each others kids as well.
