21-4-2008 - Only 10 Days Left?! WOW.

My mood while writing this blog: Nice for the most part

I can't believe how little time is left before the due date! I really don't expect to go into labour until sometime after May 1 because they say first timers go late AND I haven't made much progress so far but still!
Ten days!
I still feel like it was just recently that I even found out I was pregnant and was telling my baby's dad the news. I still remember that day so perfectly. He was so great about it. It was a pretty amazing day actually. It was the next day when he began to freak out about it that kind of sucked. But that sucky period only lasted about two weeks before he came around again and told me he would be here for us.
Me and him have had our ups and downs like crazy...and more recently we have just been down...but I still feel so happy that I am going through this with HIM. There is nobody in the world I would rather be the father to my child. He is amazing when it comes down to it.
These nine months have flown by though. I've had such an easy pregnancy and so that's likely why it has gone by so fast...I haven't had to spend each day being sick and sore and swollen like most women. I am so thankful for that too! lol
I have actually enjoyed being pregnant. I have had a very hard time emotionally since there has just been a lot of crap to deal with in my life but overall I love having this little baby in me!
I am going to miss all the kicks and movements SO much. I am really kind of sad about it actually. I know it will be replaced with wonderful things like actually holding my baby and everything but it will still be something I miss a lot.
I will miss the way I feel when my BD holds his hands on my belly feeling for movements too. I will miss how it feels when he would lay his head on my belly trying to hear for a heart beat. I have honestly not experienced either of those situations for a little while now...so I already miss it...but at least right now while I am still pregnant there is at least the chance to feel that again.
I will miss not having to really worry about feeling fat lol
It's not like being pregnant made me not care AT ALL about my weight, but it sure made me feel a lot more accepting of it! lol I am NOT looking forward to the jelly belly...ugh...that with my crazy abundance of stretch marks (worst part of pregnancy if you ask me). I am going to miss not being able to wear a two piece bathing suit anymore! lol
Hopefully the marks and flab will go away soon enough lol

I AM excited though too...I can't wait to hold my baby...I can't wait to see my BD hold our baby...I have a feeling it will be the most amazing thing I ever see...

I can't wait to go for daily walks with the little one and our cute stroller lol
I am SOO anxious to find out if I am indeed having a girl or a boy!
I keep imagining (like I am sure you all do) what this baby looks like...and I am looking forward to finally finding out!
The nursery is all done now basically and I can't wait for it to be completed with the addition of the baby! lol

I am NOT looking forward so much to the delivery though! lol
Especially now that my BD may not be there.

(OK AT THIS POINT OF THE BLOG I ENDED UP HAVING TO LEAVE TO HEAD TO MY PRENATAL CLASS LOL...AND SO IT WAS LEFT UNFINISHED...AND NOW I AM TOO TIRED TO BOTHER...SO IT MAY OR MAY NOT EVER BE COMPLETED AT ANOTHER TIME LOL)
