27-10-2009 - A waiting game i'm losing

Well dont tend to come on here as much as i used to. I am either sleeping or in a mood :)

It feels like i have been pregnant for so long and still dont feel out of the woods. my next scan doesnt seem to be getting any closer. according to the US tech on my 8 week scan i will be 12 weeks around now. the sickness is fading (THANK GOD) and i dont seem to drop off as soon as my ass hits the sofa. This scares me. Am i the only one who is worried when symptoms go away?
I have an u/s on 5th November and should be around 13 and a half weeks. i think then when i see things are ok i can settle a little. i think i am starting to piss my hubby off with the constant moaning...but i am allowed right? haha

i went to a local shopping centre earlier to but some clothes to cover me up. I feel disgusted with the way i look. is that normal? i mean i dont look pregnant i just look like a lazy ass who eats. NOthing fits and because i have always been concious of my body its very hard. i dont know if its normal. however if its what the baby needs then i am all for it but its very hard to adjust and feel selfish for thinking it but it is getting me down so just wanted to vent. have a friend who is 5 weeks in front of me and its as though i am 2 months in front of her. makes me feel like i am doing something wrong. am i eating too much lol

The boobies are massive and sore (so sore). i dont think i was expecting change so quick. but its all good signs...right?

You sound miserable... which means that baby is doing GREAT!! Hang in there. I started to feel better and 11.5 weeks. And go buy yourself some comfy clothes!!

I too am at that stage, nothing fits and to me I just feel fat fat fat! And I feel like everyone is looking at me thinking I am just a fatty who is over indulging myself. You are a normal pregnant lady :) And it will get better xx

Your not alone I feel the same exact way right now. Like a lazy chub who wants to do nothing and then I get hungry and eat... Speaking of... I am eating right now. :) Don't worry soon we will be amazing prego women!

Its so hard at the start when we just look 'fat'... It's a period of rapid growth so it will slow down, it happened with my last one, porked up around 10-12 weeks then didnt put on much more at all. I'm sure you look fantastic anyway.

try to be thankful that everything is okay with the baby and that you are getting to that 12 week scan very soon. many women would love to be in your position, i know you won't see that now as you are at the feeling frumpy stage, but you will feel that before you know it. best of luck with your pregnancy : )

Things are looking great hun!! You often will get some energy back by the 2nd tremester - and 12 weeks is often the end of the nausea for a lot of women. Soon you'll be looking PREGNANT (and not chunky!!) and you'll be beautiful!! ~Hugs~

I was worried too when my symptoms eased around week 11-12. I am week 15 now and still fret now adn again. I don't think I will finally be calm until my baby is full term and in my arms! The fat phase will pass too. I was 13-14 weeks and definitely popped. I def look preggo now! HOORAY! You are almost there babe, everything will be okay.
