17-2-2010 - 5th U/S

My mood while writing this blog: GRRRREAT!

Well ladies, today i am 28 weeks pregnant and we had our 5th U/S (for growth monitoring). We couldnt get a picture because it was too big for the print out :-(

The lil one is measuring just fine and all fluid etc is as it should be. Its head down with its back against my belly side so thats the position i want it to stay in! the tech went over every detail, its hands, feet, arms. it was just amazing to see how much it had come on! and its clearly gona have to take after mommy coz its brain looked a good size too :)

Size indicates weight at 2lb 11oz! how cute.

when i relax at night i always get a great big bump on my right and we never knew which end of baby it was but now we know its the bum :) and all those jabs in my ribs are from the feet. We could see on screen the lil one stretching outwards and being able to see my tummy move at same time was just ace.

Its left me on a real high and cant wait for the next one in 4 weeks!

i am loving every flutter and every min of this pregnancy since the second trimester. i think i am gona miss my bump! x

found stretch marks though on my butt to my hips. although they are not purple. just white and deep. not a big price to pay for what we saw today though :) still dreading the tummy ones but will deal with that emotinally when they arrive haha
