I wonder what my little girl will be like??

I have a daughter, 11, who is pretty laid back. She was such an easy baby. Thank Goodness, because I was in college, in a foreign country, on my own. I thought parenting was simple. I could even take her to class with me. Even to this day, as she goes through puberty, she is really a good kid. She is smart, but just a little lazy and get's easily distracted from her home work to read or play with her little brother. I could take her on 12 hour road trips and she was just happy. She just wants everyone to be happy. She is a very empathetic young lady. After a hormone bout, she'll always come and apologize. Very matture in that aspect.

I have a 2 year old son who is happy, stubborn and opinionated. He loves to get his own way. He is extremely stubborn which doesn't surprse me b/c DH & myself battle it out for the title of who's boss. =) So our son can't help it, really. I've learned to pick a few battles with him. I try to always give him a choice so that he feels empowered. We also let him pick out his clothes b/c the battle is not worth it. Potty training is going no where. I think when HE's ready HE will let us know. So I've given up trying to push it hard. He can light up your World with his big dimpled smile. He knows how to turn on the charm and tries to use it to get his own way. He's the kind of kid who will put the vegetables in his mouth, but then keep it there for a few hours b/c he wont swollow! He is very social and loves to be surrounded by friends. He lights up when we say we're going to a birthday party or to visit friends with kids. He throws a fit when it's time to go home.

So what will this next baby be like? She kicks hard. Will she be stubborn like her brother? I painted her room pink and am going with a sophisticated girl theme. One that will carry over for years. Will she hate it and be a tom-boy and want her brother's room with the goalie on the wall and play with cars and trucks? Will she be collicky and sickley and be mommy's little girl constantly clinging to me? Will she be quiet and unassuming, watching the World around her and forming her own thoughts and opinions in her mind? Will she be a cry baby, milking the youngest baby spot or will she be a bull dog and stick up forherself and scrap with her brother?

What will she look like? I know genetically, she will have blue or green eyes. Will her hair be blonde and curly like her brother (and I was)? Will it be straight and white like her Dad's was? Will it turn brown later like mine? Will she have my darker skin coloring and not be pastey white like her dad and brother? Will she have those gorgeous dimples like her brother? Will she be tall and slender like her sister? Will she have her dad's bulbous big toes or my pretty feet (LOL!!!)?

This last 6 months seems to have taken forever yet sometimes it feels like I've barely been pregnant. I was disappointed at first, finding out I was having a girl, but now I've embraced her. I can't wait to meet her. I have another ultrasound on 11/3 so hopefully, I'll get to see her face.

I'm hoping the next 13 weeks will fly by and I will get to finally meet her.
