06-11-2008 - Update on my pledge

My mood while writing this blog:
Hmmmmm

LOL - pathetic!

Well, not THAT bad, but I've made it to the gym once since I pledged to go every day. I still didn't get my yoga videos or bust out any weights or even go for a walk. Super lazy, really.

Then Halloween hit. OMG can you say CHOCOLATE!!! UGH! Too much candy around that just looks so yummy in those little bars. Just one... oh, just another... before I know it, I've had about 5.

I guess I was only on the wagon for 2 days and not only did I jump off, I also ran in the other direction. Or waddled really.

Now that I put this in writing... PATHETIC!

Thats ok hon! Failures just make us stronger! :) Maybe you should re-think your goals? :) And to be more realistic..... Allow yourself have some chocolate, but not more than 100Cal a day .... just a small piece :) My story: :) There's a new store opened near my house .... with some crazy good cakes! I havent bought any yet ..... i am planning this weekend .. it will be my treat weekend .... BUT i have to be good during the week.... THEN i will reward myself with a cake from the new store on saturday! :) it's fun to look forward to a treat like that! :)

You will be fine. I had my dr appt this am and I only gained 4 lbs in 3 weeks this time! Woo hoo! I have eaten so much halloween candy that I was expecting 14 lbs. I am not sure if I told you that I broke down and went to Target and purchased some maternity clothes. There weren't any 3 way mirrors there and I felt hot knowing that I was buying sz 4 maternity pants but I had to get sz med and lg maternity tops in order to cover the belly. Life is good. Dr said today that the babies would more than likely make it full term. He said I am doing great. I actually have more energy lately.
