29-11-2008 - My turn for crazy dream

My mood while writing this blog:

I think all the chatter I had been reading about contractions and braxten hicks and wishing the baby would come early, but not this early all got together in one dream.

I dreamt that my milk started coming in. (Yesterday, for real, I had noticed some colustrum leaking. Not much but just a little.) So in my dream, I had milk already but no baby. So my son wanted some. He's 2. I'm like sure, why not. It's good for you! Plus it will mean I will have plenty for the baby. So I started to feed him and the milk was coming out like a fire hose! It was about drowing him! (In real life, my milk comes in very strong. I usually spirt my babies in the eyes and face as I'm quickly trying to latch them on).

Then the "nipple stimulation" (read about in week 40) started my contractions! I was like, oh crap! It's too early, I'm only 32 weeks!!! They were really close together and I was trying to convince DH to go to the hospital. I was kicking myself for letting my son have some milk....

Then I woke up.

PS - Breast feeding an older child really weirds me out. I know it's natural for some but not for me. So that was really bizarre.
