21-12-2008 - I'm ready

My mood while writing this blog:
Tired

I have just over 4 weeks until my due date but I am so ready to not be pregnant and never be pregnant again!

This is baby #3 and I'm 37. I don't know if it's this pregnancy or my age but I thought this one would be a breeze. And really, compared to all my friends and their complications, it has been. But with #1 I was in my senior year of engineering school and I was alone. That was tough. If I could handle that, I could handle anything. Then #2 comes along, I'm married and all is good. I get in a car accident and we're in the middle of building a house. I'm down on my hands and knees tiling the floor, I'm up on a ladder painting walls, I'm out in the yard with a shovel landscaping, I'm pushing a heave @ss mower up hill mowing in the middle of the summer heat... If I can do that, this baby will be a breeze! #3 comes along and I've got nothing but time! Working full time, so what. No big projects, no relationship trauma, no health issues... Nothing. Should be the easiest pregnancy ever!!!

I have visions of being Miss Fit Pregnancy.. keep skating, keep running, keep lifting weights, pre-natal yoga, minimum weight gain! Oh yeah, had it all planned out. Then along came morning sickness and fatigue. O-M-G!!! W-T-H??? I could barely go to work, let alone work out!!?? What a lazy pregnacy this has been!!!

I can't wait to:

run again, lift weights, touch my toes, PAINT my toes, do laundry without getting MS or BH, get in and out of the car with ease.. go sledding, PLAY HOCKEY, drink a beer, have a glass of wine with dinner, take the family for a walk in the snow, eat a full meal without being miserable, carry laundry up and down the stairs in 1 or 2 trips instead of 10, play with my kids outside instead of heading for the couch, sleep on my back, sleep on my STOMACH, get out my chair and not have to instantly clutch my vjj tight b/c I'm going to pee myself, take a full long streamed pee....

But most of all... I can't wait to hold my little baby girl (whatever her name is!! LOL) in my arms and have my heart expand with love again. Watch her grow and change and learn and love.

I'm ready. =)

That was both funny and very very true, bezzi.... I can't wait to do all those things too, give or take a few... At least we can now see the light at the end of this long journey... Hallelujahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Preach it my sister.......I am so ready to sllep on my stomach, have a beer, or anything with alcohol. I can't wait to have sex again especially without my stomach being in the way, or my vajayjay hurting after just 1 minute. And yes mainly i can't wait tho hold my little guy in my arms. I have had virtually a problem free pregnancy but the memory loss, fatigue, and stupidity have really caught up to me.

Jabez, you couldn't of said it any better. Like you it's number 3 and I too had a girl, boy and now expecting a girl. I'm 34 and this will be my last. Your sentiments are right on for me. Hopefully we'll be able to bend down soon instead of squating like an old lady!

I know how you feel! 35 weeks fo me today and i am ready. this hasnt been easy and i am not doing it again and its not looking ay easier as it goes on as i have no idea when i will pop but i am feeling the strain of it all the way through. i want to hold baby and get my body back.

Oh my sentiments exactly! This is my 1st pregnancy and I must say it has been a breeze. I truly can't complain, except for the heartburn, back aches, and the constant peeing, which is all normal right now. However, I miss my body and destroying it if I wanted to... We have little parasites inside of us.... lmao.. I can't wait to meet my baby boy....
