08-7-2008 - 12-25 weeks of pregnancy

12 weeks 5 days

Well we made it to 12 weeks. Just lol. I started feeling a bit better m/s wise a few weeks ago but still throw up every morning after i go to the toilet. Its like clockwork now. I had the most violent episode this morning but its ok now. I hate throwing up it sucks. Im still not in the best mental place right now but am holding on. I hope the second trimester kicks in some happy hormones. My doctor is a world class idiot and i cant wait till friday when i see the midwifes im sure they can give me more help than the doctor. I also hope to see an actual ob while im there. They know a lot more than normal docs. Havent had a shrink apnt for a couple of week due to the school holidays but will go first week back. Blake has his doodle apnt today and im asking for a full circ. If i have another boy this time im getting it done asap. Not going to stuff around this time. Notes on my symptoms right now.

Heart palpitations getting worse (got echo booked fri)

Nausea (whats new)

Cant sleep (havent properly for about 3 weeks)

Feeling stressed and shakey (think tablets arnt working as well at the moment)

Very dry skin.

Still cant give up the fags (i think this is because im not getting the full effects of my meds)

So as you can see im pretty stuffed at the moment. I just hope and pray this bub is ok or i dont know what i would do. Prob go more nuts.......

13 weeks 1 day

Went for echo today and it was cool. Got to see my heart going stupid lol. Finally got booked in for nuchel scan next tuesday will be great to see the bub looking less alien like and more bub like. Besides waking feeling a bit shakey in the morning my general mental health is getting better (fingers crossed). Only 2 weeks to my next shrink aptn and im looking forward to it. My faith in the doctor has become even less due to getting stuffed around at the hospital today. I think i know where every department is now. That will help for later on.

14 weeks

Still puking in the morning every morning lol. Its grosse. Having a better time eating now. Better than i was anyway. Had nuchel scan done and got a really funny pic from it. Bub looks to be waving and smiling. Will post it soon. Hubby got a kick out of it anyway. The measurment was 1.9 so i dont even know if thats good or not.

15 weeks

Still puke in mornings. Moving house on saturday so am freaking out. Nice place though..Nuchal scan fine and echo wasnt really bad just no definate reason for the palps. They have been a bit better latelly tho. Still smoking and hate it but i cant see me doing it for much longer. Once we are moved im going to make a better effort. I hope my baby is ok. Still cant find ph cord to put pic on...

16weeks

Well we are all moved house and still cleaning the other one which sux because i feel so drained of energy its not funny. I have been cooking better meals now and also eating more. I can feel bub doing summersaults now and its not al the time but if im lying still i can feel it. Making appt for first ob nxt week so that will be cool. Still throw in the morning. Its good to have this to read back on as i dont really remember how long i was feeling crap for in previous pregnancys it just felt like forever lol.

17 weeks

Had ob apnt was good got to see the bub for a sec and it has a big head. Love the doc hes great. Thanks daddy!!! Finally finished cleaning the other house and i still got the touch. Nothing needed to be done extra so i was glad. All those vacate cleans i have done have truelly paid off. lol. Tired ashell but have spurts of energy. Have started on this lawn getting rid of the weeds and making it nice and clean.

18 weeks

Getting holter monitor on thursday. I will be interested to see the results of this as i have still been getting the palps. Did my tax and dont have a bill yay. Should get a back pay so baby shopping here i come. New shoes here i come as well. Still throwing up every morning. Im so used to it now that its like the norm. I find out next wed what sex bub is and i cant wait. I sort of wish we could keep it a suprise but im having bonding issues this pregnancy so it might help. We will see. xx

19 weeks

ITS A BOY.... Im in complete shock....I thought it was a girl. I have bought the portacot and pram which was a bit boyish so im glad it turned out this way. Still nausias and throwing up every morning. I thought it would be gone by now.....Other wise still not sleeping well but am ok. I get stronger everyday. I am going to go on nicotine patches tomoro. I hope it works. BOY BOY BOY LOL.

20 weeks

Well im an idiot. I didnt try the patches yet! Still throwing up and still dreaming bub is a girl. Ive bought some boy clothing to try to convince myself lol. Kept all recipts tho lol. Feeling little one move all the time and cant wait for my kids to be able to feel it too. Have put on about 4 kilos if that now and feel pretty good body wise. Everyone keeps saying are you sure there is only one? If i get asked one more time im going to punch someone. Hubby tells me im a sexy mumma tho lol. Got to give up the fags ASAP.

21 weeks

Need to book a doc apointment as my shrink said to get a check up to find out results from echo. Still Puking every morning as per ususal but i have a feeling its going to stop soon. Still going strong on the b&e toastys n the morning. Deli ladies know what i want when i go in to order blakes lunch (how embarrasing) ... Only 18 weeks left for me due to c-section but i dont think i will go past there 36 weeks cos it will be my 37 weeks by then. We shall see.....

22 WEEKS

Got results from holter monitor and basically its something i have to live with until baby is here and then they can look into it better. Still throwing up and dreaming its a girl lol.

23 weeks

Got a damn cold and i hate it cos i cant take any good drugs for it. Am now on zantac for heartburn...what else can i get put on i wonder. Hope the baby is growing well considering i still havent gone cold turkey with the smokes. Im bad bad bad...

24 weeks

Kids are now on holidays for 2 weeks. Im stoked cos i get to sleep in lol. Still throwing up every morning but now am haveing pink tinge due to linning being out of wack from puking since week 8 i guess. Will mention it next apointment. Next week is the glucose test yuk. Will have another 8 vials taken to test inflamation again as well as everything else that came back bad last time. Got a massive belly now and am going to have to attack my clothing so i have something to wear. Did the bubs room up a bit today with the cot and sorting out and washing clothes ready for bub. I dont want to have to do it all later so im doing it now and bagging them up so they stay fresh. So ahead of myself i even have the car seat bought now. Ohh i also have the nappy bag done. Think i have too much time on my hands. Have cut down to 75 mgs of zoloft now and am good so next step is to 50mgs. I think i can do it and would feel way better on a lower dose or no dose at all when buba comes. Still cant believe its a boy!!

25 WEEKS !!

I CAN NOT BELIEVE HOW FAST THIS HAS GONE. Im almost scared the baby will come out being 13 instead of newborn due to time going so fast. Have cut zoloft to 50mgs a day big achievment for me. Am sleeping in till 10,30 due to holidays and loving it. Bets are on for me delivering this yr and not next. Time will tell. Next blog will be from 26-37 weeks. Cant believe it may be that soon. We may finally see the NUTS. Am still in major denial that its a boy.....
