04-1-2010 - My last ultrasound

My mood while writing this blog: FABULOUS!!!!!

I had my ultrasound a couple of hours ago. It was WONDERFUL! I love seeing my little boy. The tech is so sweet she gives me lots of 4d pictures. This should be my last one.

Shepherd is measuring 7 pounds 1 ounce. Yikes. I still have 4 more weeks. He's one week ahead on his weight. I think that is very interesting because last month he was measuring smaller then average. I guess he caught up. =) He is so cute. He's got chubby cheeks and his arms and tummy are gaining fat too. I can't wait to hold him. When she was measuring his head she had the wand thingy all the way down. Like she was close to the exit area. I've been feeling a lot of pressure down there and uncomfortable. I guess he is moving on down to the birth canal. =) She said she would be surprised if I made it past the 22nd. I wonder if they will want to induce me? I have my regular weekly appointment tomorrow morning so I'll ask what my chances are of being induced early.

Tonight we have our birthing class and we will go over natural childbirth techniques. I'm thinking if I have to be induced I will probably go for the epidural. We'll see. =) I want to be prepared either way.
