| 07-4-2008 - 04/07/08 - 26 weeks | My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
Last night I went out with my husband and some of his friends from work. In the beginning I felt out of place as out of 11 people my husband and I were the only ones not drinking. We had a cookout with steak, lobster tails, baked potatoes, rolls and a mixed greens salad with strawberries, walnuts and feta cheese it was all very yummy! Around 6:30 the FURBUS came to pick us up and take us to the Ron "Tater Salad" White comedy show. The music on the bus was loud and all I kept thinking was how much fun I that bus would be for a birthday party, etc. The show was great, I laughed the entire time he was on stage and when we left I encouraged my hubby to have a couple of beers (you can drink on the bus) since I would be driving us home from where the bus dropped us off (his work) Although it was strange being sober around My cervix is 2.4 cm (it was 2.5 cm 6 weeks ago) so there has been no significant change. The ultrasound tech also commented that my cervix wasn't opening when she pressed on my tummy like it was before. They sent me for my 28 week GD screening and as soon as I got into my car from leaving I checked my sugar myself. It was 195 mg. I am expecting to get a call tomorrow telling me I have GD. No big deal, I can handle 3 months of GD, it could always be worse. I am so thankful my cervix seems to be hanging in there!
