Kingdom Music:
Isaiah 43:2 -- When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.
I loved to watch Grandpa make violins. He began with a smooth piece of wood. Slowly, he would carve out the back and front to the desired thickness. Achieving this, he would begin to bend and press the wood. I was afraid it would break. He assured me he knew just the right amount of pressure to make it a beautiful instrument. When done, Grandpa often inscribed his initials into the back of the completed instrument.
The Lord God knows just how much we can take in times when we are pressed, bent, and feel as if we cannot endure. He is careful not to allow us to be broken beyond repair. Christ allows trials to become part of our lives and He has placed His name on us as His prized children. He sees the final outcome and through these trials, "Kingdom music" is made.
You are shaped by God and His initials are on your heat.
