21-8-2008 - 3 Wks and a few snags

My mood while writing this blog: Optimistic

Ryder is now 3 weeks old. So far we are doing fine. Baby, himself is doing well. He weighted in a 9lbs 15oz. Doctor says he is eating well and is within weight scale. We are having to send Ryder to a specialist. His penis did not like his cert. He does not have an infection but his penis will not retract to normal. It is still inside is sac. Doctor says it is common and not to worry. He will have a normal penis. He is swelled pretty badly so when he pees it hurts him. This is the only time, little man, cries. I feel bad for him.

As for me, well... I am a whole other story. I have been to the ortho about my spine and my knee. Today I got a nice shot in my knee to help reduce the swelling around my cap. Spine checked out fine. so, far no surgery needed on my spine. Next, week I have to go see a heart doctor about the swelling around my heart. Xrays have shown that I still have fluid around my lungs and heart. My ribs feel like someone punched me and it is still hard to take a deep breath.

Albert is still home with me. Which is a huge lifesaver. He is still on night duty and allows me to sleep and rest. I do diaper changes and Pump milk. I am up to only 1oz a pump. I still feel bad that the pills dried me up. No, actually I am pissed at that fact.

Well, babe is up and needs a changing. Hopefully, soon I will have good news.

PS. My aunt died Tuesday night. Bless her soul.
