| 12-3-2012 - Moved house And car trouble HELP | My mood while writing this blog:Tired Cranky annoyed |
I'm so tired and cranky and annoyed all in one today. I've spent the past 3 days from Friday to Sunday cleaning up our old rental and moving into a new one 45 mins apart from each other plus the weather those days where nothing below 38 and even on Sunday our final day cleaning and moving everything it hit 40. Besides the extrem heat the cleaning moving boxes to a new house and unpacking which is still in the process which hadn't annoyed me enough Sunday as we were driving from the new rental back to the old one to do the cleaning the wheel on my car decided to blow leaving us on the side of the road to put a new one on, my partner luckily new how to do it and his mum was driving behind us so I went ahead with his mum too keep out the heat, he came around 20 mins later with the spare tyre on, no dramas thought great all fixed clean this house up and leave, so through out the day my partner was driving back and forth between rentals moving the last of the boxes and at around 5pm after a day in extrem heat and still very hot we finally finished cleaning and where heading back to our new rental for the last time when just as we leave our old one bam the spare tyre comes flying off and the bolts that hold the wheel in place came out and shredded everywhere ONCE AGAIN the tyre was gone but this time we couldn't fix it on the side of the road so we called the RAC to come and help us out when they informed us that they couldn't fix that problem and it would have to be towed from our old rental to our new rental which was 45mins away, which was fine until they said it takes up to 2 hours for a tow truck to come IN THE EXTREM HEAT THIS IS THEY TOLD US 2 HOURS, my partner was fuming and once again I went ahead with my partners mum and our puppy dog to the new rental to stay out the heat and my partner had to stay in the extrem heat for nearly 3 hours before the tow truck arrived...! If the dramas were not bad enough the next day we got a replacement tyre and replacement bolts went to bolt back in the hub on the wheel and found out that because the other bolts came flying out and shredded they had left metal still inside the holes and we have to now replace the whole hub of the wheel which no one in WA seem to have and think it has to be shipped from Melbourne which can take up to 5 days and this car is the only car my partner and I have to get around anywhere. Fortunitly on a one off I rang a place close to my parents and asked if they had any hubs for my type of car in stock and they said no but they can order one in and have it in by lunch time today SO FINGERS CROSSED THIS WORKS OUT AND THE CAR IS BACK ON THE ROAD...!! I swear anyone who is thinking about moving when pregnant DONNNNNNNNT your crazy to its way too much stress and like my weekend to do it in was the 8th heat wave Perth has had this summer already and with the car troubles ect this wasn't the best idea . I'm so exhausted cranky tired and angry it's not funny. :( :( :( :( :( Just hope baby is happy and okay in there all that matters to me.
