01-6-2009 - This is going to be hard

My mood while writing this blog: Guilty

How do you tell someone something they don't want to hear? It's never easy. At a time when I feel so much joy about having my first child, I know my parents and Pat's parents will not feel the same way about knowing they will both be Grandparents for the first time.

This is going to be so hard. When I told Charissa I could just tell how disappointed she was. Yeah, she'll be happy about it, and our parents will be too, but not now. They have to accept the news first and that can take months.

First, though, I'm going to my doctor appointment before I break the news. That way I will have more information about little Nugget. Good information and stuff they want to hear! That will be Wednesday. Until then I wait in dread.
