14-12-2009 - 37 weeks and counting

My mood while writing this blog: full moon!

*Baby is in a good position for birth with her back now on my left side.

*Went on a tour of the birthing center last Wednesday and I absolutely love it. I feel completely comfortable there. The rooms are large, very private and they have nice views of the city as an added bonus. They may have to kick me out upon discharge because I might not want to leave.

*So far no news is good news. I wonder if I'll go into labor on the full moon on the 31st. That would be really cool because not only is it New Years Eve but a Blue Moon, second full moon of the month!

*I've had a few spontaneous contractions here and there but nothing regular.

*Every time I feel something that appears to be a painful contraction it usually end up being gas. :P

*I don't get measured for dilation at the appointments so I just have to go with the flow. I wonder if there is a way to measure yourself?

*Going to begin taking Evening Primrose Oil capsule vaginally beginning tonight. Hope that will help speed up the process so I don't have to go over.
