Write a new blog
Baby's first diaper delivery was dropped off today. It is becoming more real that in a little over a week or so I'll have her snuggling in my arms. Is it weird that I can't wait to change her diaper for the first time? LOL. I know a lot of people don't want to have their babies come on Christmas, but I wouldn't mind so much. It would be a memorable experience. New Years Eve would be better, though. That way when she turns 21 she can go out to New Year parties. That's sad that I'm planning that far in advance for her. You just stay snuggly inside as long as you need, we'll be meeting each other verrrry soon!

There is a CD player in the birthing room and we're allowed to bring music. I'm having a hard time figuring out "birthing tunes" since I don't know what kind of mood labor puts me into? Will I be in more of a mellow Radiohead-esque mood or will I be wired and want to listen to dance party music? Maybe I'll just make a few different ones and see how it goes.
