11-5-2010 - I had my baby

My mood while writing this blog: happy

Firstly I havent had the interent so I will get to read everyones blog soon.

I had my baby girl!!!! At 12 days over due I went to the hospital to be asessed for induction. She could stretch me 3 to 4cm. They then decided to not let me leave and induce me straight away. I had my water broken at 2.30. I asked to see if that started labour before staring drugs to bring it on. At 3.30 nothing wasd happening so they started the drugs. Contractions were still not coming so they kept upping the dosage until they where coming every few minutes. They out a clip on the babys head because with each contraction her heart rate kept going every low. I had gas and not long after I had the need to push. As I satrted pushing all of a sudden the room filled with drs and midwives pulling my legs baxk telling me I needed to push and fast because her heart rate was verylow. I gave it all I had and pushed her out at 7.52pm on the 7th of May. She was unresponsive and pooes on her way out. They had to giver her oxygen and suction her throat out. I didnt get to hold her for nearly 20 minuets but when I did they were concerned that she was very pale and had to giver her more oxygen. Finally they gave her the all clear. Her name is Evie and she is absolutley gorgeous. She weighed 7.7 pounds and was 50 cm long.
