19-12-2008 - Felt the Baby

Wednesday Night, December 17th I was lying on the couch watching my hubby wrap large Christmas presents when I felt the flutter just above my c-section scar on my left side. It was definte baby movement even though I just turned 12 weeks today (Dec 19th).

The next day was my first OB appointment with my trusted OB that delivered both my previous two children. She warned me that we might not find a heartbeat so early, but right where the fluttering was was a strong little heartbeat. My OB laughed, and so did I. I told her what I had felt the night before and she confirmed that's what I felt.

"Without a doubt" since the heartbeat was so distinguishable.

I go for my IPS Ultrasound next week, so that will be even more reassurance when I see this bean.
