24-2-2009 - I know the Gender

My mood while writing this blog: Excited

It's the first time I've ever been told what the gender of my baby is.

I had a med student, so she thoroughly read the ultrasound report. I said it really didn't matter as long as the baby is healthy. She told me it was, and then smiled and said "Do you know the sex?"

I said. No I didn't, I've never been told.

"Would you like to know?"

"Sure, as long as it's healthy I'll take whatever."

"The Fetus appears to be male."

I thought I was having a girl, but I am over the moon it's a boy. I couldn't be happier. I also have the c-section booked because I have placenta previa. My new little boy will be born June 26, 2009.
