I had my progesterone levels pulled on tuesday and the dr. called today saying they are low and I need to come in and get meds. I was feeling a little queasy today and yesterday and thought just maybe it happened when we weren't trying but I guess not. I don't know how much progesterone plays in sustaining a pregnancy but i'm betting it's pretty important. I know one of my friends is pregnant (but hasn't announced it yet) and I don't want to talk to her because it happened right away for her just like last time and it pisses me off. I know I should be happy for her and I am but I don't want to hear about it especially after all of the crap I've been through the past couple of months. ugh TTC sucks especially when you are having problems. Thanks for the ear.

awww I am sorry to hear that you have to go on medication! that stinks but hopefully it helps. did they say how long it will take before your levels are up from the meds?

i have low progesterone, its an easy fix, very important to pregnancy tho, it needs to be over 20 at the begininng...anyhoo ur doc will probably prescribe u prometrium and it works for me! :) good luck hun!

The suppositories will pop your progesterone up where it needs to be! Very effective. I have some months with low progesterone too, and so I have to get blood work when I get a BFP and go from there. It was caught before a BFP, so even better chance of getting a bambino to stick if you start treatment early!! :)
