28-10-2009 - Dr. Appt. because of bleeding

My mood while writing this blog: hmmm

This morning I had bleeding a little more than spotting, so the doctor had me come in. They did an ultrasound and they saw a heartbeat of 105 and measured right on, 5 weeks 6 days. They said some people just bleed sometimes. So they gave me a Rhogam shot just in case and the flu shot and took some blood. I hope all is welll, he told me to take a rest today which is fine because it's blizzarding out here.

Well i'm glad to hear that things are ok. Atleast you were able to see your bundle of joy and hear the heart beat. And I see they are right on what you were thinking on how far along you are.And as far as the bleeding, I did spot the whole pregnancy w/ my daughter, and she was healthy. So it is normal for some people. But better to be safe then sorry and get it checked out. Glad that you did, not hopefully it will bring relief for you. The less stress, the better of you will be.
